The last time that I got to hear you guys was in Moscow Idaho in Johns Ally. What can I say accept wow. You guys were so god damn great that I bought two of your C.d.s Have you ever played in the Central Oregon area? The Bend Oregon area in particular? Its my opinion that if you did come to the area you would be very appreciated and loved. So please come and I'll give you and your band mates a free white water rafting day trip down the Deschutes river. Gooood times.

guess it must be the art or the young girls, lot of good guitar players there, but you guys and the Manzanares Brothers were the hit, although suppose there must be quite a few similar latino acts in LA, but you guys were unique

Well, the BHC (aka Buddy Holly Center) is located right in the heart the depot district. If one likes beer, then I suggest stopping in for a pint at the award winning Hub City Brewery and then taking the short walk over to La Diosa Cellars (@ 901 17th) for some great wine, chill atmosphere, and more of the SKOOB!
- dig it

Dear Tony -
April 19, 2005
This rumor is only partly true. I do keep a woman's shoe in an alter/shrine, but it did not belong to Ethel Merman (though that'd be cool, too). The shoe in question actually belonged to the man formerly known as Prince and it was given to me by TV's Alfonso Ribeiro (a.k.a. Carlton Banks on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air - no relation). And I do not get my lyrics directly from the shoe, b/c the shoe does not speak English (I think it may be French). What actually happens is the shoe talks to the Hippoclydicus who then passes the information on to the Land Penguin who in turn tells me through the beautiful art of interpretive dance. I know this all sounds very complicated, but nobody every said writing music was easy.
Thanks for the question,
skoob
Tony Twotit
April 19, 2005
I heard a rumor that Dr. Skoob keeps a woman's shoe (pump) in an alter in his house and that he claims it belonged to Ethel Merman and that it actually tells him the lyrics to his songs!

I find it sad that some people’s lives are so completely unfulfilling that they feel the need to validate themselves by being assholes, but luckily they are in the minority and we can all just nod and smile as we ignore them and go back to the party. At least, that’s what I do…
Peace & Love,

Yes, I'm afraid that Mitch Hedberg is really gone and that it's not a joke (which I too had hoped). As for the rest of this nosense, I think Mitch said it best:
"You can't please everybody all of the time and last night all of those people were at my show."
So, we'll do what we do and you can do what you do and we'll all do the Voodoo that we do so well.
peace and love,
skoob
Question?
April 1, 2005
Is Mitch Hedberg really dead or is it just some kind of cruel April Fool's Day joke?
